Impact of CFLD on Oilseed
Crop | Impact |

Soybean | Soyabean is gradually replacing Kharif maize and upland paddy in Khagaria district and is being cultivated in more than 5000 ha area in the district. The variety PS – 1042 as demonstrated through FLD is being cultivated in approx. 500 ha which has much better productivity than other varieties cultivated by farmers (Ankur and Uttam) due to YMV disease resistance. |
